.:: FUNERAL RITES NEWS ::.

Funeral Rites has parted ways with drummer Steve Richardson. His personal life had prevented Funeral Rites from touring on a large scale, as they had wanted. The band feels this is the best move at this time, as they have been invited to various festivals across the U.S. Funeral Rites are in fact scheduled and will be at the Texas Murder Fest in September. This recent event will not hold the band back in any way, shape, or form. He will be replaced by someone who is truly appreciative and supportive of death and black metal. The band continues to extend their gratitude to the fans, for being understanding and supportive through out their career.

---------------------

August 5, 2004

Due to unforeseen circumstances Funeral Rites will not be able to perform on the Brutal Domination Tour on Friday, August 6th. Obliquity has stepped up to the plate and agreed to give everyone one unforgettable performance \m/ Horns up to them for coming through for us at the last minute \m/

Don't forget about the third and possible final installment of the METAL GATHERING to be held on Friday, August 27th at Sound Exchange in Houston. Also don't forget about the Saturday, August 28th show at Cardi's with Averse Sefira, Bahimiron, Catholicon, Masochism, Crimson Massacre, Chthonian Appange, and Obliquity. More details are on the shows page.
